Disclosures
Rather than repeat the same warnings on every page, we keep them here. Anywhere on the site, an asterisk or an Important context link points to the section below that applies.
Regulatory and legal information
Regulatory content is educational reference, not legal, tax, or compliance advice, and the jurisdiction is always the controlling authority.
VacoHost is a remote co-hosting service. We are not a law firm, accounting firm, real estate brokerage, or licensed property manager, and nothing we publish is advice for your specific property or situation.
Short-term rental rules are set jurisdiction by jurisdiction, and a county rule does not automatically match the city rule inside it. Ordinances also change between our reviews. The jurisdiction itself is the controlling authority — confirm current requirements with it, and with a qualified local attorney where the stakes warrant it, before you act.
Compliance, licensing, tax registration, and insurance remain the owner's responsibility in every service model, including ours.
Sources, citations, and corrections
Regulatory claims cite official government sources and carry the date we last verified them; unconfirmed items are labeled rather than filled in.
Every regulatory requirement we publish is read from the official document cited beside it and carries a verification date. Where we could not confirm a requirement from an official source, the entry says so instead of paraphrasing a third party.
We do not cite blogs, listing sites, or competitor pages as authority on rules. Our editorial and review process is documented on the editorial standards page.
Regulation research scores count criteria confirmed from cited sources. A score is not a legal conclusion, a permissiveness grade, a market rating, or investment advice.
VacoHost has no paid affiliate, referral, or commission relationship with the tools, vendors, or agencies mentioned in our content. PriceLabs is resold at cost as part of a paid VacoHost service, and that is disclosed wherever it appears.
Calculators, estimates, and pricing math
Calculator output is an illustration built from the numbers you enter and published list pricing — not a quote, projection, or promise of savings.
Our calculators compare published list pricing against the inputs you provide. They do not model occupancy, revenue changes, cleaning, maintenance, linen, channel fees, insurance, or taxes, and they apply no inflation or compounding to multi-year figures.
Every price shown on the site is generated from a single internal price catalog, so the same number appears everywhere. Published rates can change; the pricing section of the homepage is canonical.
A revenue projection prepared by our team is a research estimate based on comparable listings and stated assumptions. It is not an appraisal, an underwriting document, or a guarantee of performance.
Results and outcomes
No revenue, occupancy, ranking, or savings outcome is guaranteed; examples describe specific properties, not expected results.
We do not promise revenue, occupancy, review scores, search ranking, or savings. Results depend on the property, the market, the pricing strategy, and conditions outside anyone's control.
Owner examples and testimonials describe outcomes for specific listings at a specific time. They are not typical, projected, or promised results for another property.
Comparisons between service models are worked examples using stated assumptions, which are listed with the example.
Ask VacoHost answers
Ask VacoHost answers only from reviewed VacoHost resources, has no access to accounts or bookings, and stores nothing you type.
Ask VacoHost is a closed retrieval tool. It answers from a reviewed library of VacoHost content and says so when it has no confident answer, rather than generating one.
It has no connection to Airbnb, Vrbo, Stripe, or any account, booking, reservation, or payment record, and it cannot take an action on your behalf.
Questions are held in your browser for the length of the session and are not stored, transmitted, or used for training.
It does not reach legal, tax, insurance, or permitting conclusions, and it does not estimate revenue for a specific property. Those need a qualified local professional.
Analytics, cookies, and privacy
Analytics measurement runs only after you accept it, and we never send names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, or payment identifiers.
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate site usage — which pages and resources are useful, and where people get stuck. Measurement loads only after you accept analytics; declining blocks the tag entirely and Google Consent Mode defaults stay denied.
We never send personal information to analytics: no names, email addresses, phone numbers, free-text questions, property addresses, or Stripe and customer identifiers. Calculator activity is reported as rounded bands, never as the values you typed.
Advertising signals and Google Signals are disabled. Data is retained by Google for the standard property retention window.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Analytics & cookies” control in the site footer.

Send us the detail and the source. We would rather correct a page than leave a claim standing.
